1992-93 Fleer Basketball is not widely known for error and variation cards and that’s probably due to the fact that only one card from that set has turned up in two different varieties: Card #4 of Atlanta Hawks center Jon Koncak was printed with two different photos on back. Unfortunately, I’ve got zero info on why Fleer chose to change the photo or which one came first, however, the “shooting” image is also the image used for the front of the card.

I have a Fleer 92-93 Dan Marjerle card numbered 42 on back top left corner. The cards I have seen look the same but are numbered 182. Is this an error? Or am I missing something?
I have a 1992-93 fleer Basketball card NBA Schoolyard Stars card of Larry Bird and it doesn’t have a card number on the back.
From the Pizza set, perhaps?
I have 7 differnet 92 – 93 Fleer Basketball cards that look just like the normal cards but have no numbers on the back. Any ideas? Craig Ehlo, Charles Shackleford, Manute Bol, Ken Norman, Loy Vaught, Derek Harper and Doc Rivers
@Brian Martin
For unnumbered cards, those are most probably cards from 1992-93 Fleer Spalding promo cards set (distributed with the purchase of a specially marked Spalding b-ball)
I would assume the initial printing used the same photo on both sides, was noted as a mistake, and corrected.
